Content design

My work with the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board involved taking pdf reports authored by scientists and repurposing the content to make it more easily accessible to users. Adding search terms, simplifying language and restructuring content into more easily navigable sections brings the scientists’ research to the farm workers it’s designed to support.

For the Tourist Exchange Great Britain website launch, I worked with a team of designers and developers in Figma and Contentful to design the initial TXGB content for travel industry users.

Luxury lodgings content

I’ve been lucky to write about some of the most special accommodation in the world for Mr and Mrs Smith and onefinestay.

Blog content

I researched and wrote travel blog content for TripAdvisor USA, providing themed holiday inspiration and promoting TripAdvisor’s inventory of rental accommodation.

Messaging for startups

I’ve worked with several startups and small businesses to create messaging, provide tone of voice guidance and even brainstorm company and product names. Here are some examples of copy I worked on for the launch of Insider Places.

Advice infographic

This is a marketing visual created for Promotional Space to help small business owners raise awareness of upcoming pop-up promotions on social media. I collaborated with a social media expert and a designer, implementing clear steps, uncomplicated language and a friendly tone.

Pro bono work for amazing people!

I was delighted to be involved in pro bono content creation and marketing for the rebrand of an amazing organisation based near me: We Get It. Our team of volunteers will continue to develop the website and marketing strategy to reach more people in Bath who have been affected by cancer.

Social support for financial services

I supported the Basset & Gold marketing team with social media feeds and occasional blog content.

For Holiday Lettings, I worked on image-led mailouts (truncated here) with clear copy and concise calls to action, bringing deals on holiday lets around the globe to a loyal list of subscribers.
